I remember in 1997, registering with a consumer testing company who would often call me in to participate in discussion panels about certain topics and/or consumer items. Often when I was younger. The last few years, not so much. But last week, I did one for $350, and I'm scheduled for another one tomorrow for $300. There's usually food, lol. And I cannot tell you how much of a godsend this occasional cash has been. They're typically $150ish, but the pay scale is wide open. I definitely hit the jackpot this month.
