Obsidian does not play nice with monospace fonts like cozette, which makes sense, but it's pissing me off. I am wondering if I should just change everything to courier new... What are yalls favorite fonts that just work everywhere?

I honestly don't remember all the stuff I changed because I got it set up so long ago. I think I had to use nightly and pull some bullshit to get this font to actually apply everywhere. That's part of why I'm hesitant to start changing things... Firefox color extension to get pure black. Dark reader extension for some websites. 4chan just using custom css in I think oneechan userscript. Auto tab group extension configured to sort the tabs like that.

Workspaces. Empty ones are empty workspaces, dim but full are workspaces with active tasks but not the active workspace, and full but bright is the active workspace. Sometimes I change it up and use numbers, or fontawesome glyphs based on task, but this is a recent reinstall of Omarchy and I've only just begun ricing it. I got the hakf life alyx steam theme when I bought the game and the theme makes steam look like it did circa 2002 so I downloaded a KDE theme that was Windows XP inspired and a XP icon set so my Bazzite machine was looking pretty 2002 for a little while but I got bored and reset the theme back to default eventually. I installed my own theme (in this case 'gruvy-glass') using omarchy's theme hook system - basically you make a color scheme into a colors toml file, then any tweaks you want to make to various programs you make a file using the program's config format so for changes to kitty I would make a kitty.conf file containing only the changes I want to make to kitty, put all of the wallpapers in a dir called 'backgrounds' and basically the default configs all have an import line that's like import "~/.local/state/omarchy/current/theme/<program>.config" and when you enable a theme, a symlink is made from the theme's dir to ~/.local/state/omarchy/current/theme/ this makes it easy to package most of your favorite dotfiles right into a theme. So I build a theme with all of my customizations, enable it, then swap out the stock quickshell bar for one I like better (i forked an old version of Shibumi Shell and modified it for my needs) and everything else is my fastfetch config, and my .zshrc changes, and choice of icons.

Stock Omarchy just isn't for me. I don't like how it looks at all, so I modified basically everything. I do still love Hyprland, and i love that Omarchy has integrated most major AI models so if a program crashes, I get a notification asking if I'd like my chosen model to debug and fix it. It's saved me HOURS of digging around in error logs and debuggers when something goes wrong, and now that Omarchy is moving to NixOS it's only going to get better
