it's an issue with fxtwitter and not with 4chan-XT, i cant remember the exact details but it has to do with fxtwitter scraping twitter rather than embedding an iframe from the twitter api like twitframe does, or something along those lines. however, most forks have not patched the twitframe.com domain which is hijacked to tf.rita.moe which is functional and allows embedding with playable videos. i can give you more information on how to fix that if you want

there might be but i dont know it, if you want to try that you could probably pretty easily get an llm to generate one for you. the way i did it was i just opened my script in violentmonkey and search and replace of "twitframe.com" with "tf.rita.moe", not the full domain but just those strings. there are only three places it's used in the script and everything else will work fine. just remember that if you update or reinstall it will not persist.
