If you notice your Start Menu on LTSC 2021 takes well above 1 second to launch when clicking, make sure to set the registry "EnShellFeedsTaskbarViewMode" (if it exists) to 2 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Feeds. It fully disables the "News and Interests" widget. If it doesn't exist, that also disables it.

Windows 10 just introduced me to a brand new issue I didn't think possible. When I press the Sleep button in the Start menu, the monitor just goes black, like when you don't give the PC input for too long. Not true, creating an usb via rufus allows for account bypass during iso creation and to skip TPM requirements. This allowed me to put windows 11 on a 2600k and guess what, it actually runs okay.

I happen to have 2 nvme ssds, so this was my idea:

It goes without saying that I will never unlock the crypted drive from my o.s. 1, the one with pirated software.

I am posting from CachyOS, and I have been using Linux as my main driver 6+ years before switching the Windows 10 LTSC from 2022 onwards. This is just straight-up false.

There is NO Linux distro that just works, although Linux Mint was the closest IMO (CachyOS makes an effort too). SteamOS doesn't qualify because it was made with specific hardware in mind, and even then, you still need to fuck around with Proton to get some games to work.

Each distro will trip over basic-ass problems that Windows users don't even need to consider (Read: codecs, dependency hell, backward & forward software compatibility, NVIDIA, Wayland (KDE's is fine). The fact that Fedora or Arch derivatives are even recommended to normies is stupid, when you can upgrade to Windows LTSC for a fraction of the effort and maintenance, and everything...just works!
