I used to browse/like Reddit like 5-10 years ago. It was somewhat fun and killed my boredom when I doomscrolled for hours and commented on stuff. Despite the hate it gets on 4chan I figured a lot of people on here browse it or used it at one point in time. The only real reason I left it was because 95% of subreddits are run by retarded fat dictator NEETS who ban you for the stupidest shit and each subreddit has 100 rules. A lot of them are "hugboxes" and users who have been on the subreddit for years feel like the moderators are their friends and will cry when things don't go their way.

Fucking kek you probably visited that place in 2019 at the latest. Reddit is full of jeets and bots. Tons of jeet subreddits show up in /r/all all the time, and they also shit up non-jeet subreddits as well.

Other than jeets, it is very common for people to post in any language they want, and the auto translate just makes it seem like a regular post in English, unless you are on the "old." version and then you see random comments in French, Spanish, German, and Russian. Jeets at least have the decency to talk in English, but they still use a jeet word here and there.

Bots are there as well, but they are mostly just karma farming reposters, or heavily downvoted replies that usually get deleted as well. A bigger problem than the bots is the amount of genuine posts or comments that were obviously written up by an LLM. The author genuinely is a human but it is obvious he is posting somehting an LLM shat out from his prompt.

YouTube did this to me too. I used to watch tons of video every day. Like multiple hours total. And ever since they started asking me to sign in I go to their site significantly less.
