There are no survivors, financially speaking. Regular people lose everything and violent riots erupt in the streets. Many die. Megacorps that you'd think are too big to fail fold in a matter of months and go out of business permanently. The government seizes this opportunity to go full 1984-style authoritarian (mass surveillance infrastructure and forces are already in place for this). There is nowhere to run or hide, you either fall in lie or die. The last civilian rebel groups are rounded up and put to death.
