I'm not going to be alive much longer, and I want to make someone the beneficiary of my investment account, but I don't want to tell them about it. My parents are going to want my money, but I don't want to leave anything for them. I want my step dad to inherit my investments since he's the only person in my family that's not a selfish piece of shit. But if I tell him that I made him my beneficiary, he'll tell my mom, and it'll cause problems.
