yeah that was a bad time. got laid off from the building site. started selling chicken heart skewers on a roadside stall on fuxing north road. goddamn lucky i made a few 萬 doing that and then invested in a a new development around beitou area. luckily those 6 apartments went up to about half a billion taiwan dollars. was touch and go for a moment there back in '97 phew
