Everyone is familiar with Hostess' Oatmeal Cream Pie. I'm sure you had it in your lunch growing up. They were always one of the few cookies I liked because they were soft. I have never been a fan of crunchy cookies...or anything crunchy, really. I can't stand croutons, for example. I'm okay with chips and crackers, but biscotti? Fuggedaboudit! Anything THAT crunchy doesn't want to be food!

They actually do sell Whoopie Pies there at the market too, but I never cared for them much. The Devil's Food cake cookies are always so claggy. Even the cream filling isn't enough to make up for how dry the cake feels when you chew it. That's why I think Hostess solved that problem with their Ho-Ho cakes. Adding the chocolate layer on the outside gives you a buffer between the cake and your tongue which stops it from turning to glue when you chew it. Same is true for Ding Dongs...or King Dons...or Ring Dings...I think they're all the same thing just with different names depending on where you live.

And, while Nestle does do Banana, I haven't seen it in the store. Today, however, I saw Orange Creme milk! I wanted to try it but, again, I wasn't in the mood for milk.
