When I was a kid, 10 to 12 years old, we would go to the sit down Pizza Hut restaurant. play a few of those tabletop video games, play a few songs from the jukebox. then I'd go the salad bar and make a huge plate sized salad, I loved their creamy Italian dressing. Finally my medium thin crust pepperoni pizza would arrive and it was all for me. I was very athletic at the time and I wouldn't gain an ounce. they served soda in those large red plastic tumblers and their ice was almost like compressed pellets of snow. Also loved the fried clam platter at Howard Johnsons, occasionally went there after church. Anyone have fond childhood memories of eating out?
