Provo Canyon Shool is a co-ed boarding treatment school for troubled teenagers. They are corporate owned and have at least the one branch outside of Provo that has just had its license revoked. In 1975 I was at what was then Provo Canyon Boys School, a privately owned campus. Most all the kids there were covered by insurance for treatment. The contract was for a year. They were pretty terrible. I'm not going to list all their abuses or my grievances other than to say I was only there for 9 months & left when a majority of other kids left - all the insurance companies had revorked their coverages. The Wahsatch front is a really beautiful area but, I really can't stand Mormons.
