Some are absolutely. It's hard not to be when the social consequences for not behaving in an amicable manner have completely flipped on their head. After just a few short decades of new standards being set by people who have no respect for their neighbors or communities. Those who lack moral courage will quickly make the decision to participate in degrading behavior because they don't see the point of behaving properly if they see someone else who isn't.
