Well, a while back I broke it then contacted the shop to see if they could get this one part to repair it, without my having to go through the whole process/expense again. Well, at that time they told me I would have to get a new one.

嗯，前阵子我把这设备弄坏了，然后联系那家店，看他们能不能只换个零件来修，这样我就不必再经历整套流程或花一大笔钱了。结果当时他们告诉我我必须买个新的。
