After developing a severe hatred of Apple over 10 years ago I havent paid much attention.

I didnt like being locked out of my own hardware and found iOS to be useless to me, being a "walled garden" (?) if thats the right term. And I have memories of a Macintosh in the 80s that had a crappy 6502 processor and needed a special tool to access the hardware.
