I'm Korean, and one thing that surprises me about US restaurant culture is how much more you can end up paying than the menu price.

我是韩国人，美国的餐饮文化里让我吃惊的一点是：你最后付的钱可能比菜单价高出一大截。

In Korea, there's no tipping, water is usually free, and many restaurants include side dishes.
