In May 2023, paleontologist Jared Voris found himself within one of the hallowed halls of dinosaur paleontology: the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. As some of the past century's most iconic dinosaur fossils surrounded him, he pored over a mysterious collection of fossil leg bones.
