【摘要】

Professor Hannah Fry from the University of Cambridge has been awarded the Leelavati Prize at the International Congress of Mathematicians for her outstanding contributions to increasing public awareness of mathematics. She was also appointed Professor of the Public Understanding of Mathematics in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) in January 2025, becoming the first person ever to hold the role.
